Breaking through transportation limits! A nearly 100-meter-long tower crane was successfully delivered to Fuhai Petrochemical, accelerating the project.
When the two nearly 100-meter-long "steel giants" successfully arrived at the Fujian Gulei Fuhai Chuang Petrochemical Plant site, enthusiastic applause erupted. This was not only a tribute to the professional transportation team for overcoming difficulties, but also a high affirmation of Quanzhou Zhongtian's robust manufacturing capabilities, while demonstrating the outstanding overall coordination ability of the general contractor, China Kunlun Engineering.
Recently, the C6/C7 removal tower and the heavy aromatics removal tower, constructed by China Kunlun Engineering General Contractor and Quanzhou Zhongtian Petrochemical Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., were successfully delivered to Fuhai Chuang's 500,000-ton/year heavy aromatics light hydrocarbon project. The successful delivery of these two large towers overcame numerous transportation difficulties, not only accelerating the construction of the petrochemical plant but also fully demonstrating the powerful synergy of the three parties working together efficiently.

The two tower units delivered this time are nearly 100 meters long each, and their overall height and weight both exceed the limits of conventional road transport. As core equipment for Fuhai Chuang's 2 million tons/year AGO adsorption separation and 500,000 tons/year heavy aromatics light processing unit project, these tower units departed from Quanzhou Zhongtian's production base and traveled to the project site in Gulei, Fujian. The entire journey was coordinated and dispatched by China Kunlun Engineering, with Quanzhou Zhongtian providing on-site support throughout the process.
The transportation route was complex, with the ultra-long tower equipment facing numerous challenges such as insufficient turning radius and tunnel height restrictions. Furthermore, ensuring the equipment remained intact throughout the long journey placed extremely high demands on the cooperation and professional capabilities of both the manufacturer and the transporter. To successfully complete this extreme transportation mission, Quanzhou Zhongtian, in conjunction with a professional transportation team, prepared months in advance, repeatedly surveying the site, planning and optimizing the transportation route, accurately testing the load-bearing capacity of roads and bridges along the way, conducting simulations for various unforeseen scenarios, and tailoring a customized transportation plan.
During the transportation phase, the team used multi-axle linked flatbed trucks to distribute the equipment load, equipped with a real-time attitude monitoring system to control the equipment status throughout the process, and assigned dedicated personnel to accompany the trucks throughout the journey. With close cooperation and concerted efforts from all parties, this ultra-long tower equipment transportation mission achieved  zero errors and zero losses  , successfully overcoming the challenges of road transportation.

Non-destructive testing utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as radiographic testing and TOFD ultrasonic imaging to meticulously inspect welds for defects such as internal cracks, porosity, and slag inclusions. Pressure testing simulates actual operating conditions to comprehensively verify the pressure-bearing capacity of the tower, ensuring no leakage issues after the equipment is put into operation.
